Wether you’re a first time dancer or an experienced one coming into a new style, there maybe a variety of questions on your mind. Here are some of the FAQs we’ve received. Can’t find the answer to yours? Don’t hesitate to contact us for a more precise solution.
Yes! We’ve found it to be most convenient and comfortable for our students if they learn from the familiarity of their own home.
Absolutely! If your business has a conference room or your local gym has a “all-purpose-space” that you would rather learn in, that’s perfectly acceptable. (We also have access to a large ballroom dance floor depending on the day and time. Additional fees may apply. Contact us for more information.)
Not to worry! Anyone willing to take on something completely foreign to them are that much closer to conquering the unknown. We welcome students of all (or no) experience. As long as you apply yourself and stay consistent with practice between lessons, it won’t be long until you go from the side lines to center stage!
That all depends on what your goals are and, if applicable, what your timeline is. Please contact Step ‘n Style to discuss a more personalized plan for you.
Of course! Most of the wedding couples we’ve worked with are happy with the ability to do more than “the awkward high school dance”. Should you desire to add a bit of flash and flare to your style, we are prepared to provide you with that as well.
There are many options for social dancing in the Cincinnati area! It all depends are you’re style preference (swing vs Latin) and the night of the week. Please contact us for a more personalized approach to this answer.
Not to worry! Step ‘n style as often as possible comes as a pair to instruct. When only one instructor can be present, they are able to teach either lead or follow. That way, you will always have a partner for class. We give you the tools necessary to practice in between classes on your own and when you’re ready to come out to a social dance evening with us, we’ll be sure to introduce you to Cincinnati’s greatest social leads and/or follows.
For lessons, you are welcome to wear whatever you’re comfortable in and can move easily around in. We recommend having whatever foot ware on that you’re most likely to dance in on a social evening out.
